During week 1 I decided to watch these movie because my brother saw it and he told it was a good one. This movie by Al Pacino is about a lawyer who has never lost a case, even when he is not right. He has defended and won cases about murders and he frees the murderers from all charges in court. He could not understand how he could do this. It all seemed to be some sort of natural ability but later in life he found out that "the devil was helping him". The movie sounds kind of non logical but it is really interesting. I used my english because this movie was in english.

Week 2: Next
In week 2 I saw an excellent movie called "Next" by Nicolas Cage. In this movie Nicolas Cage has a strange power that he can look forward 2 minutes into the future. LAPD discover that he can do this so the take him to find a nuclear bomb which is planted in Los Angeles. This movie is very interesting because you can see the many things you can do if you could look into the future. I kept using my english because this movie was in english and they used a very complex form of it.

Week 3: Miami
For week 3 I used as proof of using my english, going to miami. Going to an english speaking country made me keep my english skills fresh. I went to miami for 2 weeks and although a lot of people know how to speak spanish, I preferred to speak in english. My english even improved a little because in every trip I learn new words and conjugations of them.

Week 4: FlashForward Season 1
During week 4 I saw the “FlashForward TV Series Season 1”. In this interesting show, every single person in the world appeared to have a blackout for 2 minutes and 17 seconds at the very single time, 10:00 am. During the blackout, every person saw what he or she was going to be doing in April 29, 2010. This event caused 20 million deaths and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, is trying to find out who and how was this caused, and if it is going to happen again. They find out who and how but the next blackout occurred in the end of the season. I maintained my English skills because this series are in English and it is a long season.

Week 5: Call of Duty
During all summer I have been played online matches of "Call of Duty". I think that this helped me to use my skills because I had to speak with the other players to coordinate the plays. I believe that about 90% of Call of Duty players speak in english so I had to think and to speak in english to understand them.

Week 6: Collateral
For week 6 I saw this incredible movie called "Collateral". Tom Cruise, a special trained killer, and Jamie Foxx, a taxi driver, accidentaly become partners in crime. Tom Cruise practically kidnaped Jamie and his rescue was to take Tom wherever he needed to go to kill someone. Jamie found out that Tom had to kill Jamie's girlfriend so he escapes from Tom and he warned her. At the end Jamie killed Tom. I used my english because the movie and the subtitles I used were in english.

Week 7: Reign Over Me
In week 7 I saw this movie, "Reign Over Me". This movie is a very good one because it helps you live every day as if it was your last one. The main characters are Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. This movie is about a man, Sandler, who lost his family in the 911 attack to the World Trade Center. After this terrorism act, Adam was careless about life until Cheadle appeared in his life and made him appreciate every day that God lets him live. With this movie I practiced my english and I learned something for life.

During week 8 I saw a movie called "Phonebooth". This excellent movie is about a very famous journalist that writtes every day in the New York Times. Some stranger found out that he was not being loyal to his wife so he made him pay for it. The journalist went every day to the same phonebooth at the same hour to call to his affair. So the stranger stood in one of the surrounding buildings with a sniper, and would not let the journalist go until he told his wife about the affair. In my description it sounds boring but it is really a very great movie. I used english skills because the movie was in english.
